FAQs About our Immigration Support

  • Can I apply for a visa while in Spain, or must I do it from my home country?

It depends on the visa type. Some visas (like the Non-Lucrative Visa) must be started from abroad, while others can begin once you are  in Spain.

  • How long does it take to get an NIE or TIE appointment?

Waiting times vary depending on season and city workload. We monitor appointment availability daily to secure the fastest possible date for you. We work with waiting times of no more than 10 days.

  • What’s the difference between NIE and TIE?

The NIE is the identification number for foreigners; it is actually a tax identification number that can also be requested by foreigners who do not reside in Spain when they wish, for example, to purchase property in the country. This number appears printed on residence certificates, both for EU citizens and for non-EU citizens. The residence card for EU citizens is also commonly known as the “NIE”. The card assigned to non-EU citizens is the TIE.

  • Can you help with family reunification or dependent visas?

Yes, we assist families through each step — from eligibility and document preparation to appointment booking and registration.
